insurance and fees
Physician’s fees are based on the length of time Dr. Erickson spends with you and the complexity of your problem(s). There are three basic steps:
Before entering the practice, you will be asked to schedule a talk appointment for consultation with Dr. Erickson. This is a 30-minute visit where you will share with Dr. Erickson your concerns and what it is you are looking for. At this visit Dr. Erickson will determine whether or not he feels he can help you. You will also be given a written estimate of charges for your next appointment along with insurance codes. The cost of this consultation is $175.
This is a comprehensive evaluation. A complete physical exam and also a complete kinesthetic exam will be done. We will also go over all your medications and supplements. This evaluation takes between one to one and one half hours. The physician’s fee for this visit is $395 and does not include any lab tests, EKGs or supplements.
This appointment is usually one month after your second appointment. Dr. Erickson will review all lab study results and formulate a treatment plan. He will also repeat your kinesthetic testing and adjust your nutritional supplements. The cost of this visit ranges from $145 – $195, depending upon the time spent with you.
We require payment in full at the time a person receives services. We accept most major credit cards, personal checks, or cash. Although we do not accept insurance as payment, a coded super bill will be given to you at the time of check out for you to submit to your insurance company for any reimbursement due. Please understand that many insurance companies will not cover medical therapies or testing that they consider preventive or screening in nature, and we suggest you check directly with your insurance company if you have questions about your coverage.
We are not a Medicare provider and can provide services to Medicare patients only through private contract as required by law. The current Medicare regulations do not allow for Medicare patients to submit claims for reimbursement.
